Sara's Koigu Log Cabin Blankie So Far

I am still plugging away on my "I Love Koigu" Log Cabin Blankie. The rows are getting really long, so now I am ordering a new Hiyahiya 60 inch circular needle. That should take me right into the end of the project! I am trying to knit it-lap quilt sized. Having fun looking at all the projects the rest of the group is working on. Knit on! Sara in AL

Comments:
wow this is amazing! i am so impressed with how it is socming out. what size needles are you using with the koigu?

AWESOME!

Projects like this are reasons that people start knitting. This is absolutely gorgeous!

Stunning! Bet this is even more gorgeous in person!

I just passed on a fabulous koigu sale and I am kicking myself. Your blanket looks like a piece of fine art. I cannot wait to see the finished work.

Thanks for all your nice comments! I am using size 4's, which is making the Koigu nice and drapey. How many skeins? I think between 25-30, I bought most of it, and have snuck in some from stash. Surprisingly, it is not heavy. I plan on making it big enough to snuggle up with on the couch--a one person size. It is prettier in person--all my fav colors!

AMAZING! FABULOUS! IT MAKES ME ALMOST WANT TO PART WITH THE KOIGU STASH I'VE BEEN DILIGENTLY AGING FOR CHARLOTTES WEB!
