Here is my first attempt at log cabin knitting. I made Absorba with three strands of PnC double worsted--white, chocolate, and turquoise. It got a little unweildy toward the end, but I still enjoyed the project. Question: The edges are a little wonky. Did anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? Also, should I block it? Thanks!

Mine had some wonkiness as well, but get a buff 180lb man to drip on it (or whatever man you have available), and while it's a little damp, Straighten that puppy! Poof! Blocked.
My thoughts exactly! I had wonkiness as well, but as Absorba went to the boyfriend and roommate's bathroom where a) no one is going to notice wonkiness, b) bathmat = instant blocking.
Thanks! That's what I was hoping you'd say. My husband and I are moving into a new house, so I see many more Absorbas in my future.
I fixed the "wonkiness" like this: Whenever I knitted on to begin a new log cabin stripe, I added one stitch at the end of the first row using the backwards loop cast on. Adding that one extra stitch seems to keep the whole thing squared off.
