Double Worsted Ballband?

Has anyone made a ballband warshcloth with PnC double worsted? I have a few cones and want to try it, but I'm not sure what needles to use.

I was taught that if you don't know which needles to use, pass a strand through different holes on a needle gauge and which ever size it slips through without catching is your needle size.
I would use a 9 or 10 on this yarn. You may need to reduce the cast on number (it needs to be an odd multiple of 5 for the pattern to work) or else you will get an oversized washcloth. We used the double worsted weight to knit the washcloths that we sewed together for the dishrag rug pictured on page 97 of the book. Each washcloth was approximately 12 inches square using this yarn. xox Kay
