I really have been knitting...

I've been a member for ages, but wasn't ready or willing to explore picture posting. But now, finally, a post about actual knitting from M-D. The blue linen towel is direct from the book. The tan one is all Kay's and Ann's faults. They told me to explore stitch dictionaries. The warshcloth is only the most recent of many. So many. Posted by Picasa

I'm totally knitting that exact same warshcloth as a present for my cousin. Your projects look great!

The tan towel was much easier, but I'm not sure if it was because I had to learn the pattern before I knit it, or because I had worked through the moss grid towel first. I used Addi Turbo circulars, US 5 with the Euroflax Original (Neptune for the blue, Natural for the tan). I'm still new to knitting (6 months new, to be precise)and wasn't confident about substituting.
