FAQ:
1. Is there a time limit to join?
This knit-along is ongoing; you can join anytime.

2. How do I join the knit-along?
Send an email to Cristina. Provide me with your name/email address and blog address.

3. What happens when I send an e-mail to join?
I'll send you an invite through Blogger. Blogger will send you a link to confirm your membership. If you have a Blogger username, enter this and your password and you're all set. If you do not have a Blogger username, you will need to create one before you'll be a member.

4. Do I need a blog to join?
No, only an email address. However, when you sign up, you will be asked to create a username, and you can create a blog (for free!) at this time.

5. How do I post a picture?
When you create a new Blogger post, you'll see icons above the text you're typing. Click on the icon on the right; this will pop up a window that has a few options. You can upload a picture from your computer, insert a picture from a website (use this option if you've already uploaded a picture elsewhere), and select where in the post the picture will be placed. When you've entered the necessary information, select "upload picture" and Blogger will automatically insert the code into your post.

6. My name isn't appearing in the sidebar. Am I still a member?
Be patient, it will show up. If you havent seen it in awhile, email me.

7. How do I link my name to my website?
If you enter a website URL into that field in your profile, the posts you make will link your name to your website. Otherwise, they will link to the knit-along blog.

8. Where can I find these awesome patterns?
Mason Dixon Knitting by Kay Gardiner and Ann Shayne. Order one here.

9. Can you send me a pattern?
HECK NO. Patterns are protected by copyright laws, and it's illegal to distribute them. Plus it's just lame to steal patterns from people who have worked really hard to put them together for us. Support the handmade revolution and buy the book!

You rock! I'm so excited. Which pattern should I do?

I had the book for a few weeks now, read it cover to cover & keep going back. I can not for the life of me decide, so since I'm new at knitting and happen to have some worsted weight wool, I'm going for the nesting boxes. Good first felting project and as the "book" says, your house won't care what you make for it. I think if make my house stuff, it will actually flip & self clean on me. Hmmmm
Gotta run...

first thing to remember to join -- read the whole thing - I sent two emails and am still not sure if I got it right .... anyway when you get two emails it is just me... ;)

Hi everyone!

Hello Christine
Could you get in touch with me please.

I have read my book cover-to-cover and I'm enchanted with the linen hand towels.

Has anyone made this with different yarn than the EuroFlax Original linen? My budget isn't thrilled with the $17/skein price tag.

I'm thinking the Peaches & Creme will make the towel too thick.

Suggestions?
