One down...

A million to go! Well, maybe not a million, but a lot to go.

I knit my first ballband dishcloth yesterday. It's adorable and knit up so quickly!

Comments:
This is gorgeous! I just can't get that bubble effect with the reversed stitch and I have made a couple of these - I'm going to keep trying!

It looks pretty in rose and white.

Oh so cute!

That is really cute! Love the warshrags! They are addicting!

I just wish I could do them faster... maybe I need more practice???

So nice and even... mine kind of pull up at the center of each "bubble"- anyone know why??

Such straight lines! :) Cute one.

I like that picture, it really shows off the texture of the stitches. Cool idea for a background on a desktop! ^.^

It reminds me of a bunch of white fluffy clouds.

Hello Kitty Ballband! I love that color combo.

Diane, you might try using a smaller needle. Looser knitting doesn't allow the garter stitches to "pop" nicely.

I just made my first ball-band cloth over the weekend. My edges look terrible! Also, what's the method for carrying the alternate color along the side? I left it alone and didn't pull it up until used again - across several rows, and so it left a large loop.

I just pull the color not being used tightly (but not tight enough to scrunch the side) after I knit the first few stitches with the other color. It seems to be working well.

How cute is that dishcloth!!! I'm going to get out my white cotton now!!! Thanks for the inspiration!

This looks like a bunch of white fluffy clouds in a pink sky. That was my first thought anyway. Very awesome.

Every time you are on the side with the loose one waiting you do a single twist, then it is only carried up every two lines not four. I also do tidy edges, which I learned on the yahoogroup MonthlyDishcloths.
