mitres square variation

Finished in time for Christmas, just, is my variation on the mitred square blanket. I think this is referred to as a Taro blankie?? I may just be making this up but here's mines anyway. The idea was to create a throw for the back of Jackies settee, based on her new colour scheme of browns, zingy oranges, vibrant cerises and chrome. I am mighty pleased with the result and am loving it! Giving it away may be a problem. I am posting about it here because I can't on my blog as she reads it and I am dying to share it with anyone.

More info will be posted there after the holidays.

Wow! Beautifully striking. If she doesn't want it it can come live at my house;)

She better like it - I think there'd be a lot of takers otherwise!
