Linen Hand Towels
When I was looking at Mason Dixon Knitting for the first time I came across a caption that read:
You know what? I know a bride! So I decided I would, indeed make a set of them for my friend and her husband to be for their wedding! Since mid March, I've finished three so far. The wedding's in mid July, giving me plenty of time to finish the last one.
Here's what I've got so far:
I want to thank all of you for your inspiration. Whenever I was thinking that this task was getting a bit monotonous, reading and seeing your FOs and WIPs kept me inspired. Something about this book is inherently inspiring to me and excites me enough to keep on chugging!
A batch of these linen hand towels would make a tender present for a bride.

You have a very lucky friend, and DH-to-be. They WILL make a lovely gift. My daughter(s) and I are also plugging away, and enjoying the book. Having more trouble with "blogger" and how to make it work than the knitting. But we keep trying, and hope to post some FO's soon. Your set of towels look very nice, and I think I've been reading and hearing that they soften up and are wonderful after washing!

I haven't washed them, but I felt the washed FO out of the linen at the yarn shop I bought it at and it was divine. They will get softer.

I absolutely LOVE them! What beautiful colors. I feel like, in seeing everyone else's work, I may spend the rest of my adult life knitting projects from this book! Thank you so much for posting your pictures!
