buttonhole bag size question

Hi, all!
Just finished (and felted) my first buttonhole bag. I love, love, love the way that Paton's classic wool felts (have made booga bags with it before) but my buttonhole bag is MINI! Just wondering what sizes some of you got and with which fibers (and how many strands held together)?

I also made a MINI bag...but I used size 13 needles and Lion Brand Landscapes yarn. So it is very small. I then made one follownig the pattern exactly and it is not that big also. See the post from yesterday. But remember, you can make it bigger by knitting more rounds.
I have made four button hole bags - all using two strands of Cascade 220 and using size 15 needles. I also thought my first bag was too small after felting but now I like the size and use it as a church purse instead of my larger everyday felted purse. My finished bag is 10 inches wide and 8 inches tall (flat) or 6 inches tall (standing up). I just love these little bags and plan to make more. They make great quick gifts. Also, I have made matching polymer clay buttons for each bag - really makes a nice finishing touch.
So they turn out small? I am currently working on my first one, and I like small purses, so I was worried about it being too big! I'm not really sure if I'm doing it right - the make one stitches are weird, and it still seems awfully loose to me. I'm using two strands of Cascade 220 and size 13 needles.
