I sympathize with the hand pain- I did one with the potholder loops and experienced severe cramping.

It's worth it!
 

Thanks! It was a lot of fun to make. My hands recovered after a night's rest. I used 13 shirts and two pajama shorts. Most were women's sizes except for one Men's 3x. I did use the sleeves on a few, but most were cap sleeved. My son loves the rug. He runs into the bathroom just to squish his chubby little toes into it. You've got to love someone who appreciates handknits.
