Some see red, I see orange...
Hi everyone, I'm new and this is my first post! To say that I'm addicted to the mitred squares is perhaps a bit of an understatement...according to my husband, I am now talking about them in my sleep!
I've started this afghan for our new little neice, born just days ago. Her parents have painted the nursery orange and I happened upon this bright yarn (not as bright in the photo...my apologees, but the lighting in my place is terrible) just last week and have been knitting constantly since. My unrealistic goal is to have the afghan done by the 22nd, which is when the shower is. I've modified my original design from 4 x 4 large squares to 3 x 3, thinking I'll somehow get it done. Hence the reason I am preoccupied with it, even in my sleep! Apparently I was blathering on, plotting out how many small squares I need to do in a day and when I had planned on assembling those squares I already have done etc. Nutty, but true. Anyhow, we shall see how it unfolds! Until later...
