Bought the yarn before I got the book
I have been reading this blog so long that I knew I wanted my own copy of the book before I got it from the library. The book came a little over a week ago and I immediately started my first ballband. The magic didn't hit until I actually used it.
Not only was it beautiful but it was much better than my William Sonoma rags. Now I have started a second for my Mason Dixon Swapcloth pal. I am addicted like the rest of you. Last weekend I went to Stitches Midwest and came home with some Ozark Handspun. I am going to use it to make a curtain for my kitchen using a thick (the Ozark) and thin (an undetermined cotton) like in the scribbling pattern. You can see what I got at stitches on my blog.

Lovely colors for the warshrag. I also love your ballet camisole on your blog - that's on my "to knit" list.

I'm so glad you posted! I particularly like the ballband colors you chose, soft and nice. I do love your Portmerion as well, I only have canisters in that but enjoy them so very much.
Knit on!
