Mason Dixon KAL strikes again!

So, I was shaving my legs this morning and decided I need new bathmats. A trip to Walmart!! Alas, here is a pic of my yarn. Yes, these are the colors I live with in my bathroom. Hard to just rip out hot pink marble people. Yes, you read right...............I know. It can be perceived as bad but I choose to live with it and just work around it.

Here is a bib I did about a month ago. A little different twist but cute nonetheless.

Am loving what everyone else is doing!

Love your twist on the baby bib! I might just have to try that on my next one.

Hot pink marble? Yikes!

I can sympathize with the hot pink tile! The first house we owned had hot pink toilet, sink, and grey and pink tile. The wallpaper was the only thing we could afford to replace (because I could do that myself!), so we worked around it too! Enjoy!

What is the color of the peaches & creme yarn you bought for the bathmats?

It is called peppercorn ombre. It has ecru, yellow, seafoam green, and a dark pink in it.

I started the bathmat today and I am already on the 4th strip. Am going to have to make it a bit smaller for the space I need but will probably make a bigger one once this one is finished. I am using 4 strands of P&C on sz. 17 needles, because that is what I had on hand and I really didn't want to buy any more needles.

I think it has taken me 3 hours to get to the point where I am right now. It goes fast!!

OK, you HAVE to post a pic of the FO's with the hot pink marble in the shot. I cannot go on without having seen a b'room done in hot pink marble. It must force you to decorate in kitsch just to show you have a sense of humor about it, huh?
