Still Growing

The baby log cabin continues to grow and grow. This shot is from the foot of my son's twin bed. I want it to be roughly the same size as the actual log cabin quilt underneath. As you can see, I need to make one more round of strips before it's ready for a border. Posted by Picasa

This is really beautiful! It looks almost exactly like the one in the book that I've been dying to start working on. Great job!

I love the colors you've chosen! So bright and cheerful. Thanks for posting the picture!

beeeeyooooteeeefull!!!I love it. True inspiration!

How many skeins and different colors did you end up using to get that size?

great colors!

I am using Cotton-Ease in Banana Cream, Pineapple, Orangeaid, Cherry, Candy Blue, Popsicle Blue, and Mint Green. It looks like I will wind up using a whole skein of each. Thank you for all of your kind words. I am feeling very smug about the results, but I couldn't have made anything nearly as pretty without Ann and Kay's great pattern.

Ohh! I love love love these colors. I'm desperately searching the web for colors that match these as closely as possible. Too bad they discontinued Cotton-Ease. This is just perfect. Keep posting pics of your progress.

Try Knitpicks Shine for similar colors and fiber content.
