Log Cabin

Hi there,
I have just joined this knitalong and in the last few days I have started a Log Cabin blanket. I am totally inspired by all your finished items and look forward to reading through the archives and future posts. Here's my progress after 2 days of addictive knitting. Who would have known that no shaping, no counting and knit stitches only would make a project un-put-down-able?

Ditto the beautiful colors!

Loverly! I know how you mean that addicted feeling keeps on with you until you get like 200 stitches on your needles. Enjoy and I'm excited to see the end result. Those are such pretty colors, very girly. :D

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the kind comments.
The wool I am using is Patons 100% cotton Double Knitting. I tried to use Sirdar pure cotton DK too but it was far too hard and much thicker than the Patons so I ripped it straight back out.
