Ballband Dishcloths and a Towel

I just finished a new stack of dishcloths and I've been using the left overs to knit a coordinating towel. The ball band pattern is so funa and easy. I think I'm going to have to try a ballband rug like I've seen here on the KAL blog.

What beautiful work! What yarn did you use?

Love your towel's color combinations! What's the size of your towel and how many stitches did you cast on?

Wow, what a great idea.

I used some assorted peaches n/ creme and sugar 'n creme I had on hand. For the towel, I cast on 75 stitches. It is 14 inches wide and 28 inches long.

Ditto what everyone else has said about the towel. The colors remind me of the colorways of Artful Yarns' Candy.

LOVE that towel!!!!!!!!!!

Yes - the 75 stitches allowed for the same basic pattern repeat across the rows. After the first two knit and purl rows, begin the first band with knit 4, slip stitch...just like the original pattern. I just went long enough until I ran out of scraps.
