Rainbow Log Cabin, Finished

My first knitted blanket! Phew! I got it done just in time for the birth of my friend's baby, which I luckily got to attend. :) I thoroughly enjoyed the log cabin project. It took me about four months to complete with a couple of kids running around and a few other projects going at the same time. It's done in all washable yarns: some 100% wool superwash; some wool/acrylic blends, and some 100% acrylics. Who would have thought that garter stitch could be so fun. This is my first KAL. Thanks. More photos and such posted at my blog.

Wow, that is gorgeous! Great job, I'm sure the mom and baby will love snuggling with it.

Nice job. My 2007 resolution is to do a log cabin.

That looks so awesome. The proportions are really nice, and I love the red border!

Fantastic colour sense! I'm working on a similar log cabin right now and this is great inspiration. Thanks!

Nice! The variegated adds texture.

It looks like a Gee's Bend quilt! It is beautiful.

That is really beautiful! Very impressive!
