logcabins 002

It just keeps growing. Love this pattern! Anyway, I was wondering what ya'lls needle preferences were with some of these patterns. I started with pointy bamboo and switched to Addi's recently. I usually hate them but they're working for me with the garter stitch. Thanks! Nicole

(Everyone's projects are looking so great! I wish I had the time to make one of everything I see on this KAL!)

Wow, these are totally my colours. I love it. We just moved and bought Nautica's Blues Cruise quilt and sheets (sorry Kay, we didn't quilt it!) and this would be the perfect topper!
And, ps, I love how you have combined the traditional log cabin with the step method. I think I'll try this to avoid the sewing in bit.
Awesome. I want to make one in just those colors.
this is beautiful. i am thinking about doing one in these kind of monochromatic tones as well. nice job!
LOVE those colors. Blue is by far my favorite color. I've been thinking about doing something similar. Now I have proof that it'd look great.
LOVE those colors,,,
what yarn are you using?
they would really work in one of my rooms,,,,,,,
LOVE it!
I'm using wool of the andes in most of the blues (and a shade of purply-blue and a shade of green-blue) - from Knitpicks.
I'm with you on the needle choice. I generally prefer bamboo, but it's just not fun using those with cotton. I tried the addis, and they make the cotton a real pleasure to knit.
