Everything But the Button

Read the Mason-Dixon knitting book in one night and couldn't wait to find some more cotton yarn. A friend is expecting her first bundle in August, so my first dishcloth had to turn into a bib when I saw it here on the KAL. She didn't find out girl or boy, so hopefully the rainbow of colors will make her happy.

I even managed to buy twenty more buttons of all different colors for future bib making.

ED: Yes, the yarn is Peaches and Cream Fiesta Ombre. Posted by Picasa

Great work! I love that color combination - the white outlined by rainbow colors.

great idea! Love it.

very cute.

Wow that is so cute. I love the cheerful colors and the pattern works great for a bib. Lucky baby :-)

I also want to know what is the name of the varigated yarn you used! I wouuld love to knit with it.

i just love this! great job!

That is such a great color combination! Did you use the rainbow colorway? Great idea - I usually pass that one up because it's so bright, but the white cuts it down and makes it pop at the same time. Very cheery!

Love the color combo - I can't wait to make one just like it for my new niece! Thanks for the idea!

Love the bib!
