Warning: Political Warshrag Content

terror alertAs Jen points out below, one of the many wonderful things about Mason-Dixon Knitting is the way it encourages us to play with color…in my alternate knitting life, I tend to stick with the neutrals. Anyway, while sorting through the spoils of my latest Sugar and Cream reconnaissance mission for my latest stack o’ Ballbands, I realized I had picked up the color sequence that would enable me to reproduce the Homeland Security Advisory System (OK, I had to go back for the orange). This one goes out to our very own splindarella, who correctly guessed the significance of the color scheme in a mini-contest on my blog. I figure if you gotta go, you might as well go with clean dishes.

Comments:
What fun, I am tempted to make one. I love experimenting with the color combinations.

How funny! I agree with Juniper; nothing's better than creativity with a dose of humor. I think I should make one exactly like this for my son ... maybe it would inspire him to lower the threat level of his kitchen!

LOL I feel safer already.

Very cute warshrag. The colors look great together.

HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! LOVE IT! AND CONGRATS TO SPLINDARELLA FOR WINNING! YOU GOT ME GOOD TOO!
FOR A MOMENT I ACTUALLY THOUGH THE WAAAAAAAAAAAARSHCLOTH WAS FEATURED ON THE COLBERT REPORT!! DUH! DEE-DEE-DEE!

That is hilarous! Gotta love the combo...wouldn't it make an interesting set with an Americana theme? ;)
